My 2000 Chevy blazer was running fine. All of a sudden my
fuel gauge quit working and now it won't crank. My service
engine light was on so I had it checked and it said that the
fuel regulator was going bad. Anyone know why it crank

so it doesn't even turn over (crank) ? when you hit the key you should hear the fuel pump prime the system it;s not very loud , what did the trouble code say exactly ? no fuel pressure might throw that code , check for fuel pressure , power and good ground at the tank disconnect , no pressure , power and ground = bad fuel pump , the sending unit for the gauge comes with it
Fuel pump primes and and motor turn over but nothing. The code said that it was dumping too much fuel at one time

check the injectors to see if they are firing right , if one is stuck open that could be the problem , then change the regulator and get it to run then check out the gauge problem
