04 Dodge Ram - Instrument Cluster - Battery Gauge

820

Asked by Kyle Feb 27, 2019 at 02:43 PM about the 2004 Dodge RAM 2500 SLT LB 4WD

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Truck starts perfect in the morning, Starts perfect after work (sits 8hrs). After
work if i go anywhere IE: grocery store and come back to start my truck it
intermittently wont fire up. Everything works except the battery gauge is to
the far left and I'm unable to start the truck as no power gets to my starter.
After waiting about 30 minutes the battery gauge will finally show power and i
can start the truck and go home.

When i first bought the truck I paid about $1,500 to get a PCM replacement
as they said that was my problem. It wasn't; I've been to over 5 mechanics
who cant diagnose the issue and have been stranded over 50 times in the
last couple years.

Someone, Anyone Please help me!!!!
