Dodge ram cluster problem

2003 dodge ram 2500 diesel cluster goes
on and off when and only in drive. Took
apart the cluster and go it check out was
told evrything was working what could it
be or does anyone els have this problem

A well know issue, cluster needs a rework on cold solder joints. Dealer knows all about these! Regards

I feel your pain mine is 05 dodge 2500 5.9 cummins... batteries died tqo days ago. Replaced them, along with bad altenator.. instrument cluster will not work, tried hard reset with it and nothing. Rpm gauge is all over the place. Got one from pick and pull today. It dont work either. Any suggestions .. frustration setting in. Thanks tina
