My instrument gauges have quit working to replacing the cluster are they VIN specific or can i replace with one from an auto salvage yard?

All guges in the instrument cluster are not working however all the lights are okay.

turn your key off, hold the trip reset button, turn the key to the ON/ACC position. all dash lights should illuminate, and stay illuminated, also your gauges will do a full sweep. If your gauges dont sweep youre going to need a new gauge cluster.

I did that and all the lihts worked but all the gauges did not go through the test cycle. My question now is can i buy a second hand cluster from EBAY or will it have to be from the Dealer if it is VIN specific.

It SHOULDNT be vin specific second hand off ebay should do just fine

my gauges don't work dash lights don't come on but head lights and radio works

Gauges all work just the hear indicator don't light up. Is this a bad soder job or is it just a light
