water pump installation

i just want to know how hard the water pump removal will be on a side engine for this car

1. Remove the serpentine belt 2. Remove the alternator, wires first (3 bolts) 3. Remove the idler pulley from the front of the water pump (3 bolts). 4. Remove the the old pump from the pump housing (4 bolts). 5. Clean gasket and housing 6. Put gasket sealer on gasket. 7. Put new pump in 8. Replace idler pulley, alternator, and belt.

2000 cavalier LS convertible has 2.4 LD9 engine 1. remove passenger side tire 2.Remove belt 3. remove crank pulley and tensioner 4. place jack under motor 5. dissconnect both motor mounts 6. jack up motor 7. remove timing chain cover 8. mark where cams and crank are in correlation with timing chain. 9. remove timing chain 10. remove timing chain 11. remove water pump 12. replace everything GOOD LUCK alternative process 1. drive or tow car to dealership or mechanic 2. expect to pay 6hrs x $90/hr 3. be broke for a few weeks but a LOT easier!

I had a mechanic weld my water pump to my motor because of one broken bolt. How can I get this fixed and at what cost?
