My car doesn't accelerate when I press the on the gas.

Asked by GuruW4VGH Apr 11, 2018 at 07:38 PM about the 2003 Toyota Camry SE

Question type: General

From a complete stop, I pressed the accelerator and the car would not go. The
motor was running at the time. I put it in park and turned the key off. I restarted
the vehicle and went on my way like nothing happened.

Sounds like a transmission issue, check fluid level, condition, and for leaks.

Unplug and plug back in your electric throttle body. It may need cleaned. This with retard acceleration command from your gas peddle
