2000 c230 kompressor wont start

Asked by gc230 Aug 03, 2020 at 12:44 AM about the 2000 Mercedes-Benz C-Class C 230 Supercharged Sedan

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

This car has been in storage for 4 years, fuel filter was replaced, fuel pump
works, new gas added,  fuel rail was tested for pressure, coils are new, and
tested and plugs were changed before storage, has a fresh battery, that was
tested,  car will try to start (almost kicks over) but acts like its not getting fuel,
or ignition,  then shakes and wont start, as if its  being held back,  plugs have
not been pulled,  but will be pulled and checked next, no codes come up on
basic reader, car was shifted several times to check for neutral safety, it has
oil and coolant, A sensor not letting it start? crankshaft position sensor? I feel
like there has to be another procedure i am missing,

Unplug the mass airflow sensor. Then try to start it... if it starts then the MAF is bad.
