Plz help I have 2002 Mercedes c class 180 done 70000 miles won't change gear

I have 2002 Mercedes c class 180 done 70000
miles stock on 1st gear I can't change it to higher
gear it reverse fine
I changed the I changed the air flow sensor and
the oil and still same problem

Hi mark Yes I took it to garage he did diagnose it it says fault p2603 There is a management light on dashboard as well
