Check engine light? If so, codes?
Check engine light not on at all
So I just unplugged the mass airflow sensor and it fired up without any issues...but what does that mean?
Never touch these elements. The spray will clean them and let it air dry.
Okay thanks alot I'm going to store to get cleaner I keep yall updated.
Get CRC mass air flow sensor cleaner only for the MAF.
Okay guys so I clean the MAS and put it back in and tried to start and now it turns on but the engine is running very rough like its choking or gasping for air or fuel or something..I wish I could upload video so yall can hear
So I just realized that when the car turns on even though it's running rough my catalytic converter is flowing red.i had that issue before but it was because when I replaced the spark plugs and wire I had misplaced 2 wires but never had that issue till now
When is the last time spark plugs have been changed? Tuneup? Clean throttle body and IAC valve. A good injector cleaner new air filter. Etc
Clogged cat? Tap on it with a hammer lightly when it is cool. Is it broken inside? Rattling?
I changed the spark plugs and wires about 2 months ago and change fuel filter about a week ago along side poring some Lucas injector cleaner into tank ...new air filter about 3 months ago...
I have had the cat replaced about 10 months ago or so
Hey guys just to give yall an update on what was the issue with my car after everything..I went back and retraced my steps and it was the ignition control module that's why the catalytic converter was flowing red it was sending a misfire I had tested the coil packs and they were fine so that left the ignition control module but it's back running great without any issues...thanks yall for the help
This is what was bad! all that time and stress LOL
