Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My battery is dead on my car, the doors are unlocked, I am able to open the
hood, but for some reason the trunk will not open. I used the metal key to try
and open the trunk, but that would not open it.  Please help

Try to jumpstart the car, and when the jumpstarted battery iOS hooked up, see if the electronic trunk lock will work. Isn't the battery under the rear seat? Either charge, or replace the battery. Have the charging system also checked. If the battery is old, you may have a bad cell in the battery. If you can, remove the battery and have it tested before buying a new one.

Please can someone help. I have a Mercedes CLK320 2002 & the battery is in the boot. I've already tried to use the specisl key, a Jump Box, a Halford charger for a day & tried to jump start from another car. I still can't get the boot to open...Help? Can anyone recommend another solution...Caroline
