Replacement latch for top

You may need to replace the trunk partition struts. To test, hook up a short bungee cord between the trunk partition and a lip near the trunk latch. Be sure bungee is taut so that the it holds the partition in place. Close the trunk and try putting down your top. If the top opens successfully, you probably need to replace the partition strut(s). They're sold in pairs and cost about $60/pair...do a search on Amazon. I only had to replace one to fix my problem. Check YouTube for instructions on how to remove and replace the strut. It's quick and simple.
