Why is my battery going dead?

You may have a parasitic draw. Here's a short video on how to pin point the problem: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KF1gijj03_0 Your alternator may also be bad. Have autozone do a quick alternator test. You may find that it's not producing any volts to keep your battery charged.

If all of that is good, then you have a open circuit. AKA a short.

Isn't a short . Ignition is not going to off position, keep moving (jamming) into park while trying to get ignition into off position until dash lights to go off. I unhooked the battery for a year when turning it off before someone told me how to do this.

Car not starting after being towed. Not enough power to start and turn over. Tried to jump start and no starting, headlights come on but weak. Dash haves flicker movement then stop. Tried to turn over but wouldn't.

I have a 2015 Malibu i was using it every day for work. The ex wife got the just to give her the car I parked it over there April 2 of 2018 it has not moved since I parked it there. I finally got it back. I put a new battery in it and it died after being parked three days. I went get another new one replaced it same thing went dead and killed the cells in the battery. What’s the problem?
