Question type: Maintenance & Repair

2000 chevy malibu. Replaced stereo and now the
headlights and taillights will come on or flash on
their own with the car turned off. Issue has
resulted in a dead battery in the mornings so I'd
like to fix it and not have to disconnect the battery
cable at night. Has auto headlights and the anti
theft light is on in the dash cluster. Tried cleaning
the photo sensor near the base of the windshield,
didn't make a difference.

I'll double check the wiring but I sort supervised the install becausey buddy that did it when he owned it had never wired a stereo before. I've heard of other 2000s chevy with buggy anti theft systems
