Michael--Sounds like you have the classic fuel line filter problem. Mercedes have a wonderful filter located along the drivers side of the frame. Takes two wrenches to remove; I also use clamping pliers to clamp off the fuel lines on each side of the filter to keep fuel from getting in your face, this also allows the filter to reprime when you release the pliers. Also, make sure your air filter is clean. You can blow the filters out several times befor with compressed air before you have to replace them. Jerry

The crankshaft position sensor in these cars will cause those exact problems, with the joys of no fault codes in any of the systems.Car usually will start after 15 min of sitting. Usually will start to give no starts after a short drive then shutoff(going to the store, running out car will not start)
My 2001 E320 Sedan shuts off while driving. Took it to Autozone to run free diagnostic. Code given PO221, Throttle pedal position TPP sensor/switch "B" circuit range/performance... Explanation Open or short circuit condition... Probable cause Poor electrical connection; Faulty TPP sensor; Faulty throttle value control module. I put Sea Foam in the gas tank and my car has not cut off since/yet. Going to take to mechanic with code information mentioned above to see what's going on. I'm thinking it's dirty sensors, a loose connection or an extremely dirty fuel filter, but we'll see.
I have a 2006 Mercedes Benz e500. My stop braking light Comes on and I can’t move my car.. It’s take a day or two To go off..It’s says depressed braking brakes fully.. can someone tell me what’s going on with it..Thanks
Guru. Most likely brake light switch, it’s about a 25$ fix
Stops excelling when I hit the brakes I cut the car off then restart it driving Very fine until I hit the brakes Agin even does on highways
Try air filter change fuel intake then CB oil thanks
