my 2000 r320 mercedes sat for several years, it ran fine when parked, the battery went comopletely deasd so u replaced with new...everything lightsup, engine turns over but the fuel pump doesnt come on, it has 0 rail pressurem it wont start..what do I need to do?

i have a 2000 E320 that sat fior several years, the battery went completely dead, I replaced with new, the car ran fine before it was parked, now everything works, the engine turns over but i have no fujel poressure, i can't hear my fuel pump running, what do I need to do?

The fuel pump may be bad but I suspect you are in for a complete fuel system cleaning. Gas goes bad and gums up everything!

Have you checked to see if your fuel.pump relay is working ? It.may be a blown fuse , Or it could be just a seized pump . Worst thing you can do to any car is let.it sit .Good luck
