Question type: Maintenance & Repair

My 2000 chevy malibu wont start. It cranks, and
tries but will not start. Its completely out of the
blue, it ran 3 days ago. I sprayed starter fluid down
the intake and there was no spark. Has anyone had
this issue and what is your advice??

Its pretty common for the 7x crank sensor on the back on the motor to go out. look at ur ignition module which holds all ur coils. U shld see a plug with a yellow and purple wire. Turn the key on and backprobe the yellow wire with a paperclip(has to be baremetal) and then use like a testlight from B+ and see if u can make the coils fire by rapidly touching the paperclip
