Turns over but won't start

My Malibu has full charge and power. Turns over
and acts like it wants to start but won't.. thinking
it's not passing gas..  are there easy ways to check
what the possibility may be? Thank you

Take battery cable off for a half hour put back on try to start it I had same problem hope it helps you
