Can I Jumpstart the engine battery in the front? I have a 2004 e500. My issue is the everything in the car works but when i put the key in it wont turn over. Will this battery cause car not to crank?

I tried to jumpstart the engine in the rear.. All the lights come on the radio seats move and everything however the car still doesnt crank

I have The same problem Battery is full discharged My emergency key is lost and I cant open the locked trunk I need to feed power to open the trunk elictrically

Open the hood against the firewall drivers side us a black electrical box. Open box, in the back is a small black cover. Remove cover and attach positive from jumper to nut under cover attach negative to ground. Open trunk, jump car. This supplies power to open trunk
