Before you pay for a pump, check the pressure, the relays and the fuses. Spray some starting fluid in the intake to see if the engine fires.

Find a reliable,honest Indy to deal with.... stay away from the MB dealer. Parts are readily available in the aftermarket....

Advance Auto $197.00 for the pump, $59.00 for the filter and if you want to do it yourself, either do it on a rack, or a set of high ramps under the rear tires. Just replaced my own in about 3 hours on ramps.

Unplug your MAF sensor, and see if it will start before buying a bunch of expensive parts. That was my problem, and after spending over $300 in parts and a week of working on mine, I unplugged my MAF sensor ant it started rite up and ran, then I plugged it back in, and in about 5 seconds it died! My whole problem was a dirty MAF sensor! I removed the sensor and bought a can of MAF sensor cleaner, and a baby's soft toothbrush, cleaned the 2 resistors until they looked shiny, and new, replaced the sensor, and my problem was solved! All together it cost around $10 for the cleaner, and brush. The MAF sensor was over $200 at my local parts stores! $10 and a little elbow grease saved me at least $200! Just to let you know how this happened, the MAF, O2, low oil pressure, and several other sensors send a signal to the ECM to provide the computer with information so it can optimize preformance, and fuel economy,but the computer will also shut off the fuel pump if a sensor goes too far out of range to prevent damage to the engine. My MAF sensor went out of range because of buildup on the sensor, and my computer shut off the fuel pump! Hope this helps you.
