I would recommend a drive train warranty. Benz are strong reliable car but mechanical failure can't be foreseen and can be pricey transfer case in the 4 matic system have failed and transmission are prone to leak fluid trans reseal jobs are popularize in Mercedes repair centers keep in mind anything can and well happen it is all.nuts and bolts after all Best be covered for the next 4 years

If you drive a Benz - you need a warranty. The engine and transmission will likely last a lifetime with proper maintenance - it is everything else that breaks. And is also very expensive. A general statement is 'never buy an extended warranty from the car dealer'. You are virtually guaranteed to pay to much. Do you want bumper to bumper coverage or just engine and drive train. That will seriously affect your cost. MANY of these companies sell VERY questionable products. If you try https://www.autowarrantyagency.com/ I can not guarantee it is the lowest price - but I think I can safely guarantee you will never have any claim issues. If you do a Google search - you will find they have consistent high ratings. CarChex (also very highly rated) sells the EXACT same product - just at a higher price. Other factors such as make/model of your car, current mileage, length of coverage desired, state of residency also play into determining your cost.
