ml320 bas esp light

Depends When it goes on. Does it comes on then goes off when you start it, Its going through its diagnostic on startup. If it goes on when off roading, or 4 wheeling as some call it, it means the system is working and doing its job. If it does it while driving normally. something is wrong. Either you have a low tire, a tire of the incorrect size, or a failing wheel sensor. Hope this helps.

Does it come on during heavy braking? If so it is most likely the brake apply sensor wearing out.

my dealer replace brake pedal switch on but still came on next day after dealer replace. i had new front brake, pad and oil change.Dealer wants $125.00 to do diagnostic although National Sfety had recal of brake pedal switch. Why yelloe triange lih came first and hear strange noice, and then light bas/esp came on and that is the time car will move. why??paging national safety transportation to investigate this.

traction too? or it flash, if all 3, the computer modules are known for moisture damage, if not ONLY MERCEDES capable diag computers will depict it, universal obd2 scanners wont!!!!

when 2001 mercedes ml 320 brake light came on in october 2012, it is very scarry, you can heard something stuck, then when the brake light on, you can resume driving, so i bring to the chicago mercedes dealer and since there is recall, they replace it without, then the next day it happened again and same scarry situation, i decided to go to my friend's local shop and have ordered new original brak elight switch, he replaced it again because the one that the mercedes dealer is defective. This time it is better, the brake light will just come on when the temperature reach above 85. But just pop out the brake light when no scarry. But i had to watch when the brake light switch came on, then if you are driving before you proceed you have to wait 5-10 minutes and the brake light will cane out and you rresume driving. If you will just drive without the brake light, you will the same situation very scarry. Is there a way NSTA will again revive the recall and check why this is happening. Is it yaw sensor rate or what????

Where is the esp module? Ml320 2002. Not the abs module but the esp module. Or ets???? Someone said it was next to fuse box. I looked. Don't see it.
