Steering problem

I have a 2001 Mercedes ml320 and I
just had a new rack and pinion
installed and now everytime I have to
so a sharpish turn I have to put a lot
of muscle and weight In order to turn
at all.. Can someone help please

Sounds like they never bled out the power steering. You need to pop the cap off the power steering pump reservoir. Then turn the wheel left and right and keep cycling it until the air gets bled out.
