Fix Coolant Level Light coming on and off.

Asked by Guru9XNJHJ May 19, 2021 at 06:09 PM about the 2001 Mercedes-Benz M-Class ML 430 4MATIC

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2001 ML430. The Coolant level light came on and the coolant level
was correct. I changed the reservoir and the light temporally went off but
them returned. I took it to our local Mercedes dealer and the said the
coupling on the reservoir was bad, so I changed that. Now the light comes
on when the car reaches running temperature and will occasionally will go off
for a while. How do I fix this?

I would replace the coolant level sensor next, it might be faulty.
