I had the battery changed on my 2006 ML 500 by the MB Emergency Road Repair, but now the radio works intermittently, it cuts out like its on permanent auto scan, but it doesn't change radio stations.

The code might be written down in your owners manual, if not you will have to go to the dealer for the code.

take the negative battery terminal off and leave it over night and see if that resets it

I wouldnt remove the battery cable again since thats what caused the original problem, you just just need the code for the radio and may also have to rescyn the one touch window up/down function.
