you have a hand tool to open close manually, the the trunk both ends rear locks can be activated manually, first insert U side of the tool and turn down till it stops and then push both latches into the hole and lock, now turn off the power and turn back on and try to open. Don't forget to reset the windows limiters down and then up.

I don't have the tool. Pulled everything apart in the trunk and didn't find the tools. Can use an alternate tool or device? Or is there a dealer where I can buy it? Thanks!

the tool is about $10 at the dealer part #129 581 00 66 the alternative is a #10 open box wrench and a #6 Allen key, the open end is for the rear locks and the Allen key for the front.
