Car only has 18,000 miles. Are you unable to unlock ingnition to steer or push car when Battery power is low? I replaced batteries in Fob and will replace car battery. just wondered if I'm missing something to get the Fob type switch to turn?

Service your battery, dammit! The answer is contained in the question. Kinda makes a GURU feel like a psychiatrist. Yes, bust out with the garden hose and turn it on your battery to take the crust off, next (with latex gloves on, and saftety glasses) undo the terminals and wirebrush them. Be sure to wirebrush the ground connection at the frame and the one going to the engine as well. This way all those amperes have a path to go through. Damn, how could you blame your key? shame on you.
