2006 SLK 280 hard top will not go down into the trunk.

Trunk opens and the windows lower but the top will not raise and go into the trunk.

Well, if it's anything like my 2000 SLK230, it probably just needs to be pushed up from the inside because the release latch is sticking. Some WD-40 does the trick. When it does that again, try to push up on the roof near the front middle and see if it releases. Hope that helps!

cheak that its got oil in the hydrolic pump in the boot ?

My hard top works up and down but it will not go all the way in the trunk just stays up high enough for the trunk lid not to shut.. can anyone help
