Dash gauges

dash gauges tweaking out , gas flips back/forth , alt
needle flicks when turn signal usage . Dash lights
flicker ? Is it high maintenance or small project like
plugs and wires etc ?

sounds like your alternator is going out and your battery will go dead
I thought so also , but after having it tested , it reads ok . I replaced a upgrade battery and still having problems . Any way old alt could be defect and not show complications ?
what do one recommend for high quality and not real expensive alt?
can a person upgrade to a stronger alt without future problems . a lot of equip for battery and alt usage.
i believe your alternator might just start giving out signals but eventually it might go bad, if lights are flickering on dashboard as well as headlights its the alternator, i would check ebay, or if you are short on money buy a used one for now. You can search on car-parts.com for any used part and will give you prices and junkyard info and location
well there are alternators depending on quality, many auto parts will give you lifetime warranty on parts, the more money you pay the better the quality of the item theoretically speaking as is not always the case.
with all the accessories involved , stereo, video, power/windows-seats plus recommend higher amp ?
