1981 Honda Accord. Cooling system. Water pipe replacement.

Asked by canticle Dec 02, 2013 at 08:37 PM about the 1981 Honda Accord LX Hatchback

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Water pipe running behind the engine block has formed a leak.  How is it removed?  There
doesn't appear to be anything holding it from the outside or inside of the water pump
chamber.  Also, does anyone know where to get a new water pipe?

you may enter this sight summitracing usually have the goods...sounds like between the water neck and the connection should be a rubber hose there~ http://www.summitracing.com/search/department/cooling- heating/section/thermostats-housings-fillers
