2000 Chevy venture won't start it's a nightmare
So I have a 2000 Chevy venture van that has been
a constant nightmare. First the battery had to be
replaced but wouldn't start. Found that the
pcm/abs fuse was blown, I replaced it and it ran.
As I drove over 50miles I lost all power, the dials
dropped as it was off and I needed to tow it. Then I
took the battery and the alternator off and they
tested good and the battery got recharged. After
putting it back together it once again turned on
and it drove for about 40miles. It jump-started fine
for about 5 miles and dies on me again in the
same way. And then jump-started for another
3miles and I was able to leave it safely to tow it.
Found out the ignition control module was broken
and so I replaced it. The van turned on fine and
after a few starts I thought my problem was
resolved but then when I went to turn it on in the
morning before work it would make a clicking
sound and won't crank or turn on. I'm losing my
head over here. Please any advice would be great.
