Question type: Maintenance & Repair
I have a 99 Astro ( 4.3 awd) it ran great before I replaced
ignition switch, cylinder, and lock housing, now when I fire
it up it runs for a few seconds and dies. Plugs, wires,
distributor are a few months old, fuel pump works, fuel filer
is brand new. Could it be the fuel injectors?

Make sure battery has a full charge and battery cables/connections all good? Did you trigger the security system when working on it? Passlock is usually a fuel injector disable. The passlock sensor surrounds the key cylinder, it's the key tumbler that communicates with security system, not the key. Is security lamp on when you try to start it or when it stalls? There is a 30 minute relearn procedure, don't know if it will work? When it stalls, if lamp is on, leave the key in the on position, the lamp may go out after 10 minutes, turn key off, then you go through procedure two more times for a total of 30 minutes. Hopefully on the last key cycle it will have relearned? Any applicable trouble codes?
Thank you very much! 30 minute procedure did the trick! Along with some wires I had forgotten to transfer to the new harness, now she's running like a champ!
