1999 Chevy AstroVan,138,000 miles, Check engine light is on (The comes on intermittenly), engine is sputtering when starting from a dead stop.  Oil pressure is good. Engine is not overheating.  Is this a vacuum problem? Is this a fuel in-line filter issue?

This problem could be alot of things. Take it into most retail auto parts stores and they can scan your computer for trouble-codes. This may give you a good idea what's going wrong.

I had this same problem, changed wired and plugs along with cap and rotor, light went out and ran great

good morning I have a 99 Chevy Astro van having a sputter and rough idle I change my fuel injectors I changed fuel pump I change rotor cap wires and it's still running rough and sputter what could be the cause thank you
