1977 Toyota Celica AC system

Asked by Idontknowmycelica Jul 08, 2018 at 05:20 PM about the 1977 Toyota Celica GT liftback

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So I charged the AC system in my Celica. I
hotwired the compressor clutch to get it going.
Everything works great now, but when I connect
the compressor to the switch and turn it on, the
compressor turns for about a second then the
clutch disingages. Any ideas? Should I just hotiwre
it for good?
