I want to know if you can drop a modern 2.3 in a 89 Celica Gt convertible

Question type: General

my 2.0 has several 1,000 miles on it and just blew a head gasket. Love my Celica so was wondering if could put a more up to date and little bigger engine in it

Drop in implies that you can bolt it in and drive away. Probably not. What exact engine are you referring to?

My friends drop engines in any thing, big blocks in 4 cylinder cars and trucks, any there is many avenues using weld and ideas!

You can do all sorts of things if you are a fabricator. What you can't do is make most of these swaps safe and work correctly or be smog legal.

Your Answer:

Celica
