How do I set the timing after replacing a
timing chain on my 1999 2.2 Chevy Cavalier,

If the ignition has coil packs it does not need any setting. Just make sure you had the correct marks when setting the chain. If it does not have a coil pack and has a distributor, take off the distributor cover and make sure the rotor is pointing at cylinder number one. If not at number, you might have to pullout the distributor and setting to fire number when the chain is at TDC (Top Dead Center). If not familiar with this process you will need a repair manual. Not the owner manual. Good luck :-)

But it's still not really rite , now it's got like a miss in it, although it looks like I could use new plug wires or I at least hope that does the job, not sure on what else makes a car miss that bad after putting a brand new timing chain on
