What components from other vw models fit my cabrio?
I have been searching for parts to modify my car and i keep getting mixed
results. With no one near me with one, I am unfortunately left with the internet
for answers. The parts I am specifically curious about are: suspension, body
panels, and interior pieces
I can understand your confusion. The Golf was revised to the fourth Generation or Mk4 for model years 1998 to 2004. The Cabrio is eventually a convertible Golf. The problem being is the Golf was updated, but the Cabrio was not, and was still based on the Mk3 generation model years 1994 to 1998. So in 1998 to 2002 the underside of the Cabrio is Mk3, but some interior and body panel parts are from the Mk4. So consider your car kind of like a Mk3.5. So your Cabrio will share parts from both generations, the Mk3 and Mk4 to totally confuse you. HTH's

My late Uncle had a 1999 1/2 Cabrio. Cleaning out his garage I came across a new OEM, never used still in the box Cabrio Front Cover ( Bra). It fits 1999 1/2- 2002 Cabrio.
