My 99 chevy malibu was running rough so i gave it a tune up. (put in new plugs) then i
noticed the fuel regulator was leaking so i put a new one on. now it will run for about 30
seconds and die. do you think that its a fuel pump? any thing im missing? i have spark
but not sure if fuel is getting there. if you floor the peddal it will die and sputter.

It is possible that it may be bad fuel pump,but i have seen your model igintion switch cause this issue all so,if possible check the fuel pressure,if pressure is good when pump is on,check your ignition switch.

Hmmm ok I think I saw the ignition switch on a recall list for my car. Do u know how to get it for free on a recall? Or am I just dreaming?

If recall on the igintion has not been done,call your local chevy dealer,may get lucky and not have to pay out of pocket for it.
