Rims

I have a 2002 voltswagen golf and I want to raise it
and put them on some 20 or 22 inches rims. What i
have to do and buy to put rims on my car.  Is it a
bad idea to go bigger

I agree with F_O_R. I wouldn't go any bigger than a low profile 17 ". Even then, your wheels will probably cost more than the car is worth. If you just want more clearance, get higher profile tires for the rims you already. Good luck
