How do I repair the second row sliding seat?

MY SOLUTION The plastic piece that always break is not available from GM. You have to buy the whole riser part with the rail. The dealer wanted $240 so that was out of the questions. I then tried several glues to fix my the plastic part but it does not hold since there is just too much force in that small plastic piece. MY CHEAP FIX My fix was to drill a small hole through the break and then use a strong wire to hold it all together. I twisted it to make it tight. So far it have hold up.

I have a quick low or no cost fix to the second seat not sliding problem....Remove the spring and plastic cam part and cable that goes both to the seat back and release lever. Install a wire rope with either wire clamps or cable seals if you have the tool. See the picture. You replace the bolt into the lower cam that moves the claw out to release the seat. this will allow you to slide the seat easily. If you want to lower the seat in the cargo position, just unhook the loop you made on the back end and the seat back will lower to the folded over seat botoom. It tkes only a second to unhook the loop. Then replace the loop when completed using the cargo loading position. You will not need the upper cam part for any reason....See attached picture, oops, its upside down, but you can see how it works.....

I recently changed this part as well. The bottom black part had cracked in half. I went to a salvage yard to get the part and wires from a 2001 suburban, mine is a 2000. I replaced it all, but I'm still having trouble getting the seat to go back all the way? Anyone know how to fix this? Video fir reference in the link. Thanks, all. I realize this is an old post, but I’m having this exact issue myself at the moment. The eBay links have long since died, so does anyone know the name or part number I would search for on eBay or on Huff, etc.? I’d like to try and replace it for around $20., first, and if that fails, then try the innovative DIY cable/wire way described. That said, any additional details on that method would be appreciated. Check on Ebay for "Huffline" he sells this item and it is so easy to install. Cones with instructions and takes 10 minutes. No getting under the truck and works perfectly.
