I have a 1999 chevy suburban it has large tires and wheels my husband drives about 80 miles to work one way everyday..we drove to several appoinments today and noticed on the way home the truck started shaking...we turned to the left and the front tire scrubbed a little my husband just put air in the tires sunday night but we just started having problems today it shakes worse at lower speeds and calms down going faster but still shakes...the lug nuts are fine, kicking the tires none shakes or moves, any help would be greatly appreciated because my husband was just injured in a head-on collision at work with a concrete truck by a stupid driver

A simple tire rotate and balance may solve a lot, if you havent done that in a while. I would be looking into possible steering parts worn out like tie rod ends, idlers arm, and pitman arm. If your experience is a little low with these parts, I'd take it in for tire rotate and balance and they will likely inspect your front end parts for free if you ask them and give you an estimate if any are bad.

PAUL GAVE A GOOD ANSWER BUT I WOULD ALSO HAVE SOMEONE AT A TIRE SHOP LOOK AT MY TIRES THERE COULD BE A TWISTED BELT IN ONE OF THE TIRES THAT YOU MAY NOT BE ABLE TO SEE UNLESS IT'S IN THE AIR AND YOU SPIN THE TIRE HOPE THIS HELPS. BOWJUNIOR

sounds like tire belt separation (tire needs replacing) also if the tire was run under inflated more than 15 psi it wil have "chewed up" the sidewall inside the tire giving loos debris causing the tire to go out of balance , but since the problem exists at low speeds the tire is defective and in some cases partial cost of the replacement can be had from the manufacturer get the tire checked and replaced as soon as possible, you do not want the tire coming apart at highway speed
