95 VW Jetta won't start after changing radio.

I have a 95 vw jetta and I took out the radio that was installed by the previous owner and put in the stock radio and
now the car will not start, i think it may be the alarm system or something. PLEASE help me! I need to be able to
drive to work on wednesday!

Yes it is the anti theft disabling the starter. First try locking the doors with the key then unlocking them. If that doesn't work you may need to obtain radio code and possibly take the wiring harness for your antitheft module and tie #5 and #6 together to bypass. Another solution is to install a push button ignition using a switch or button from radio shack connected from a hot lead to your starter harness (just above the tranny right hand side of engine bay).
