I have a 1995 jetta vr6 - looking to pull some seats from a salvage yard - what year will
be compatible for an even swap -

Any Mk3 VW seat should work...what exactly are you hoping to do? Upgrade? Repair? There are a few decent threads on the VWVortex forums about folks putting MK4 and MK5 seats in their Mk3s...it take a bit of work and welding...but the results look smashing.
