Power Windows?!?!?!

Asked by JohnnyRoial Nov 30, 2010 at 04:07 AM about the 1997 Volkswagen Jetta Trek

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

So all 4 of my power window will go down using there respective buttons,
however none of them will go back up using the buttons. This happened all of a
sudden, and I figure the motors work because they go down and will go up when
using the door locks. Anyone have any idea on what the problem may be and
how to fix it?

Thanks,
Johnny

switch the arm rest controller, it seems to be malfunctioning.

it's the same thing for all the doors, could it be all the arm rest controllers or if one is messed up will it effect the rest. Thanks for the help!

Im going to assume that the 3 passenger doors, are relying on the operation of the drivers window switch.
