200 Beetle Turbo was a 1.8T... no 2.5T engines have been available until just recently. It is possible it could fit, but it isn't the version you want to use...only 150hp. Look for a MkIV Jetta or GTI 1.8T...those are like 180hp. The Audi TT Quattro 1.8T is 225hp.
FYI....the new Audi A2 2.5TFSI is 300hp...so the 2.5 has some definite performance tweakability...but you would spend a mint on one...and another mint getting it to fit in you MkIII Jetta.
I know this is a old thread but my question is that, can i adapt a audi motor in a VW jetta mk4?
It is definitely possible...but always a question of the cost to do it. If the Audi motor is the same generation and displacement, it might be easy enough. "Exotic" swaps can be uber-costly and technically challenging. Do your research on the VW forums before making expensive decisions. Chances are, somebody has already tried to do what you're considering.
