Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I need to replace motor in 98 Jetta VR6 but the
motor in it now is a single cam, can i swap it out
with a dual cam without a bunch of modifications

1 Answer

Not sure about the swap but I have a 5 speed auto, triptronic from my 02 24 valve Jetta. Just rebuilt. Wrecked car. This tranny cost me over $4000.to rebuild. Have receipts. Will bolt up to my 12 valve. I just want a thousand bucks for it
