Car won't start 1999 VW TDI Jetta

If it cranks over okay, next is check your fuel filter. Make sure the fuel valve clicks open when you turn the key on. Diesels don't like cold weather. If it has a block heater, plug it in and make sure it's working...they sometimes burn out...no preheat.
