Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I am having to be aggressive most of the time now to get the transmission in
1st. Just yesterday about 4 times I thought I had it in 1st but when I started
releasing the clutch it wasn't taking off like it should then I noticed it was in
3rd. At times getting it into 5th is aggravating. There is no slippage in the
clutch and the transmission seems ok. What could possibly be the problem?
Thanks

Bad clutch pressure plate,or the clutch slave cylinder needs bleeding or replaced,if there is no slipage while in gear.
