how to fix my 2000 jetta power mirrors

i believe there is a fuse for them. it might be on the same relay as somethin else tho. i know someone who has a set of mirrors if u want them.

For anyone else searching for this answer, it is very common for the defrost element to burn out. This is because the switch is connected to the mirror controls, and many people leave the switch on the middle selection instead of always selecting the right or left mirror. Unfortunately this isn't the 'off' position like most mirror switches, it is actually the heated mirror 'on' selection. So leaving it in the middle, which makes sense for most vehicles, actually leaves the defroster on all the time, which eventually burns it out. I advise leaving the switch in the L or R position, even though my OCD hates this.
