What is wrong!!

Asked by Christopher May 30, 2016 at 05:14 AM about the 2001 Volkswagen Jetta GLS TDi

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I bought a 2001 Jetta TDI 1.9L GSL about 3
months ago the second day I had it the check
engine light came on I immediately got the
codes pulled and it was saying my torque
converter solenoid switch was stuck open I still
haven't got that fix and had been driving around
on those codes then my car was dieing on me
overnight so I took back the car to the
dealership and they got a MOBILE mechanic to
come fix it and he said my miles and digital
clock was running all night so he hard wired
wires into my fuse box and the car doesn't die
overnight anymore BUT I don't have any power
to the car when my key is turned off I can't even
lock my doors but when I turn the key on once I
can lock my doors And have power. Then about
3 weeks ago I parked my car in my drive way
on. A hill and went to bed woke up around 10am
the next morning I went to try to start my car
and it would crank then I got a call from the
financial bank who was nice enough to install a
GPS/kill switch in my car for "safety reasons
that way if anyone steal my car I can kill it and
track it down " but it actually there so they can
kill your car if you don't pay and you can't take
off with it anyways they had a issue charging
my debit card and instead of calling me they
killed it so I fix the payment issue went to start it
and it cranks doesn't start but after 10-15
seconds of cranking my oil light flashes my oil
is full so I'm not sure what it could be I was
checking the common Isis like fuel filter and it
was full of clean diesel and I don't have a fuel
pump and my fuel senders is fine . I did notice
that my glow plug light would never go off as
soon asbo turn my key it stays on while I drive
and until I turn the key off. Anyone have any
ideals
