my 2002 jetta won't start. Need ideas of what to do?

Asked by Nikki Jan 07, 2018 at 11:13 AM about the 2002 Volkswagen Jetta GL TDI

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Recently had it towed in and everything checked.  electrical, battery, alternator
and starer good. they replaced the intake manifold that had a hole and then it
started.  next day, not starting again.  It is very cold here.  Any ideas of what
we can do short of towing it in again, which was their suggestion.

well, your car's getting old- and VWs are not the most reliable of cars- and the company is not the most honest- if you want to keep it, and continue to rely on it in adverse weather, get used to the towing thing- I would get rid of it and get something more solid-
